Lac du Flambeau (CDP), Wisconsin is not the same entity as Lac du Flambeau (town), Wisconsin. They should not be redirected to the same article. In Wisconsin, "towns" are really civil townships. [1] Backspace 21:25, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

I agree, the Lac du Flambeau CDP actually has a population of 1,646 per the 2000 census. I'm not actually sure where the 3,004 figure comes from since I don't even see a second Lac du Flambeau in the census data. Quatloo 14:17, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
OK, the Lac du Flambeau (town) entry is indeed in the Census [2], it has just been omitted from at least one of their gazeteers for some reason. Odd. Still, Lac du Flambeau CDP and Lac du Flambeau (town) should not be conflated, but I do not have the script which generates this type of page from the raw census data. Quatloo 14:24, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
