Lackawanna Old Road

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Lackawanna Old Road was the right-of-way used by the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad in New Jersey before the Lackawanna Cut-Off was built. The line was used from 1856 until some time after the cut-off was completed in 1911. After 1911 it was relegated to somewhat of a backup route and as a branch to service businesses on the line.
