Lac La Biche County is a county in Division No. 12 in the northern Alberta, Canada.

The county was incorporated on July 01, 1998, from the northern part of the Municipal District of Bonnyville. On August 1, 2007, the Lakeland County amalgamated with the town of Lac La Biche to become Lac La Biche County.[1]

The economy is based around the oil and gas industry, agriculture and tourism. Some sawmills are also present.

As of 2001 Lakeland County had a population of 4,959, spread across 16,292.70 km²(Source: Statistics Canada 2001 Census[4]

In 2006, Lakeland County had a population of 6,365 living in 3,158 dwellings, a 20.0% increase from 2001. The municipal district has a land area of 16,294.77 km² (6,291.4 sq mi) and a population density of 0.4/km² (1/sq mi).[3]
