Labutta Township

Labutta Township is a township of Myaungmya District in the Ayeyarwady Division of Myanmar. As of May 9, 2008, it is feared that up to 80,000 people from this township may have been killed as a result of the devastating Cyclone Nargis which is estimated to have claimed up to over 100,000 lives in Burma.[1]
