  • Becko B105's afternoons announcer often is heard doing outside stunts and pranks for the team.
  • Melissa "News Nazi" Martin The stations News Director who has been spoken about a number of times on the show generally about arguing with Labrat about his new News policies. Melissa also filled in for Tash in April after Tash broke her arm.
  • Biggzy The stations Hot30 Countdown (night show) co-host appeared for two days to fill in for an ill Camilla.
  • Randoms
    • Michaela - From the stations promotions department has been heard mentioned on air a handful of times and was also involved in a prank on the station's Kyle Sandilands
    • Scotty - Has been mentioned a number of times on air, most notably when Labrat pointed out Top Hat Tom had bought Easter gifts for everyone on the team except Tash. Scotty also appeared for one show as the traffic reporter, and chatted to the team before the 6am news whereby they referred to him as the work experience kid - because of this he is believed to be the Late night announcer, who has often referred to himself as being 17, filling in.

[edit] Regular show segments

  • Wheel of inappropriate questions a wheel is set up in the studio when big guests drop in with a number of questions placed on it, guests are asked to spin the wheel, and answer the question it lands on - notably Megan Gale was asked if she had a name for her genitals, and Kevin Rudd was asked if he farted in front of his wife.
  • Plasma pop quiz daily quiz segment where a listener is asked ten pop culture questions by Stav, winning $10 per correct answer, and a plasma TV if all ten are answered correctly.
  • Ask Uncle Stav Children call in and ask Stav there questions that there parents can't/won't answer. Typically, the more shocking, funny or inappropriate questions are put through, with Stav previously being asked "Why does my brother kiss boys not girls?" "Why does my willy get hard" and "Did my goldfish die because I didn't eat my veggies?
  • Camilla's Inside Word Celebrity goss segment presented by Camilla.
  • Taking it in the ear Labrat and Stav go to various locations, Stav has an earpeice in which labrat can talk to him via from an unmarked car nearby. Stav must do and say as labrat tells him. The most notable Taking it in the ear was done from the Logies red carpet where Stav asked a number of well known Australian TV stars very inappropriate questions, however, Guy Sebastian, familiar with Stav and Labrat hooked into the stunt after being told he was at a Virginity checkpoint he answered Stav with "Labrat, you bastard!".

[edit] Ratings

Labrat, Camilla & stav's ratings are 5th in Brisbane behind - Nova, ABC, Triple M and 4BC with an overall share of just 9.5%.

[edit] Shows of note and controversy

  • Day 1 of the new show saw Labrat and Stav make Camilla and her boyfriend (the show's audio producer, Glen) believe that she was being lie detected through an ISDN link to Sydney sister station 2DayFM, A number of questions were asked about a recent trip she had taken and particular focus was paid on weather she had cheated or not. Camilla sternly denied that she had, however, the voice on the line from Sydney assured them that she was definitely lying. A clearly upset Camilla was then told that the voice was simply Jaime Chaux (Labrat's old boss from Sydney) and it was all a scam, to which she replied "Fuck you" and stormed from the studio. This stunt marked the beginning of what was to be a new era at B105.
  • Early in 2007 a show was held called the "$100,000 Giveaway Show". Leading up to the event listeners were encouraged to register on the website - 100 of these listeners were chosen and asked to come to Brisbane's Southbank Parklands were the show was broadcast from. Leading up to the day a lot of speculation surrounded the giveaway, and it was said that even the other announcing staff of b105 were told, the only clue given was that everyone would get something. The show ran as normal, with small CD giveaways throughout the morning until 8.40 when 3 trips to Japan were given away, then Labrat stopped and stated "How about we get a plane, fill it with everyone here...and send you all to Japan!!". This giveaway is believed to be the biggest Brisbane radio giveaway ever held.
  • In May 2007 to celebrate Paris Hilton going to jail Stav was dressed in orange overalls and shackles and dropped out front of Brisbane's Sir David Longland Correctional Centre with no ID or money and was challenged to get back to the station's City based studios. Hours into the stunt the local train station was closed, sniffer dogs were called in and Stav was ambushed by Police who were seen to be quite unimpressed by the stunt. This saw the station call the stunt off due to legal reasons. The following morning the show aired a wrap up of the stunt, and photos appeared on the stations website.
  • In July 2007 the team did a stunt named "Pash a Carnie for Gwen Stefani" whereby participants had to passionately kiss a carnival ride operator to win a chance to meet Gwen Stefani
  • In July 2007 the show celebrated its 150th show live from the top of Brisbane's Story Bridge with many special guests taking the climb including Brisbane Lord Mayor Campbell Newman
  • During a segment of "Ask Uncle Stav", one Child asked, "What's an embryo?", to which Stav replied, "It's the thing in Camilla's tummy that's making her crazy". Camilla then said, "It's actually a feotus Stav but thank you".
  • During a segment of "The Wheel Of Inappropriate Questions", it was clear that James Blunt has no sense of humour, because he treated each question with contept and seemed offended. When the wheel landed on the "Ina-inappropriate Question" (where the question is so inapropriate, it can't be read out loud on-air), he looked at the question only to respond with, "It just says to tell you that you're a wanker".
  • Every now and then, the team have an "intervention" on one of the team members, one particular "intervention" was on Ping Pong, where she was over Labrats' house for dinner on the night of her birthday. During the night, Labrat couldn't help but notice that Ping Pong's nipple was exposed, and Labrat failed to say anything (wheather this was because he wanted to save Ping Pong the embarrassment or because he's just a perv is unconfirmed).
  • There was a bit of tension in the team when it was revealed that an incident involving Camilla's birthing video had taken place. Camilla invited Labrat and Stav over to her house one night to show them the video of her giving birth to Baby Charlie. What she didn't know was that Labby & Stav were planning to make a copy of the vid and show it to the public. The next morning on the show, the boys told Camilla what they had done and what they wanted to do with the vid, needless to say, she was shocked and upset by it. In the end, the boys said they would not show the vid without Camilla consent. She said no.
  • Recently, the guys decided to do their own version of the Channel 9 show, The Moment of Truth, where host Mark Walberg would ask each team member a series of questions while connected to a lie detector. Camilla's moment of truth was on Wednesday, where it was revealed that she would go to another radio station if she was offered her own show. Stav's moment of truth was on Thursday, where it was revealed that he has something hidden in his house that he doesn't want the police to find. On Friday, it was Labrat's turn, however, when it came time for his moment of truth, he backed out. He even went as far as to hire a lawyer to prevent the segment from being played. Listeners were outraged at this. It came to a point where Mitch (the content director of B105) came on and read a section of Labrat's contract that basically said, "we own all intellectual rights". It is still being decided wheather or not to play the segment.

[edit] Trivia

  • Camilla is known for saying incoherent, clearly incorrect or contradictory statements. To mock this, Labrat now plays a jingle stating "That's another random moment, brought to you by Camilla."
  • Kerri-Anne Kennerly appeared on the show in 2007 and was reminded by Labrat that while working in Sydney she was convinced that he had vandalised her property and got the commissioner of NSW Police onto him. Stav now appears regularly on Kerri-Anne, and she was a guest on their 150th Show special.
