Labinal

Labinal is the wiring systems subsidiary of the French aerospace group SAFRAN.

Labinal has divisions in Europe (mostly France, also Germany and the UK) and North America (U.S. and Mexico), as well as a research division with a total staff of 4,700 as of 2006. It produces wiring solutions for the global aerospace industry, including Agusta, Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Dassault, Eurocopter, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon.

Labinal also produces the wiring for the Airbus A380 large passenger aircraft. This project has been plagued with delivery delays attributed to the wiring, which has led to tensions and mutual assignations of blame between the German and French Airbus subsidiaries.
