Lab on a Chip is a peer-reviewed scientific journal which publishes original (primary) research and review articles on any aspect of miniaturisation at the micro and nano scale. Lab on a Chip is published monthly by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), the managing editor is Harp Minhas and the chairman of the editorial board is Prof Andreas Manz, ISAS, Dortmund, Germany.

Lab on a Chip was launched in 2001 and provides a unique forum for the rapidly developing miniaturisation community; it has become a leading journal in its field, with an impact factor of 5.821.[1]
