[edit] Deleted and restored
This was deleted as an a7, which is very obviously inappropriate. Then it was deleted as a repost, but since there was never a legitimate reason for deletion, I see no value in deleting it as a repost. Maybe people are thinking "A myspace band? You must be kidding!" but let's look at who the members are. It's not a stretch to call this a rap supergroup and there are some legit-looking sources on the net. So, I've restored this for now, and IMO any questions as to the suitability of this content should be decided via AFD, not speedy deletion. Friday (talk) 19:26, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Indeed, deleting this would be wack. There's already a bootleg with all their LCN numbers, I'll guess we'll se a full this summer maybe, would be nice80.197.1.72 00:38, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] I thnk we're back
Given the activity at La Coka Nostra (hiphop group), this sure looks like it ought to be an article. I've unprotected- we'll want to get this down to one article rather than two. Friday (talk) 00:41, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] [...] needs to be removed
its a fan site with no traffic, a message board with only one post, this doesnt meet wiki standards. 75.12.159.0 00:16, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
A fan site with no traffic, maybe a group with no traffic? Both are arguable, the site seems to be fairly new and gaining attention [...] should be added back.
- The group is already huge, an internet phenomenon. Look how many friends they have on their myspace. Its a freaking Hip Hop Super Group. 68.94.92.88 03:16, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
- This article needs a source other than the group's MySpace page to cite the fact that they have become an "Internet phenomenon". Also, a "supergroup" would mean that all of the group's members have had successful careers both commercially and critically before the group formed. Without sourcing this, with a reliable source, it would be considered some sort of POV. Just letting you guys know. --- Realest4Life 16:59, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
- House Of Pain has gone platinum before, so has Everlast solo, and I'm sure Non-Phixion has, too. I agree "Super-Group" isnt needed, but a lot of press writeups have included that. Erryday I'm 03:01, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
- I realize that, but as I said, all the members need to have both commercial and critical success for the group to be considered a "supergroup". I mean, N.W.A., G-Unit, The Diplomats, A Tribe Called Quest, Geto Boys, none of these could be considered supergroups. Also, it is much safer not to name them a supergroup until a reliable source (not some highly biased hip-hop website/magazine) names them a supergroup. Thank you for understanding. --- Realest4Life 13:18, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

You are wrong, there is no reason to remove this article. Look for something else to do with your time, thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.36.35.40 (talk) 00:18, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] [...] needs to stay
You should stop removing this site, Lacokanostra is a lesser known group and this site is a legitimate fan site and message board. The site can't be expected to draw millions of hits with an artists who have no major releases and barely can keep a wiki page. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Somfunk (talk • contribs) 23:55, 24 April 2007 (UTC).
- The fan site is terrible, it is very poorly made, and doesn't meet wiki-standards. The message board has a whole one post! And also, its La Coka Nostra, not Lacokanostra. Artists who have no major releases? Everlast went platinum. I see you have no idea what you're talking about. Everlast (musician), seems like a good page to me. 68.94.92.88 03:15, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Release in 2008?
Earlier everybody said it would be out late 2007 but now it's changed to early 2008. Sometimes I get the feeling LCN will never realease anything but is just a way for the involved to boost their careers. Great tracks nomatter what, but a shame if they never release anything80.167.85.23 12:44, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Lacokanostra.jpg
Image:Lacokanostra.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
