Why is it "La Caixa" & not just La Caixa? Is it because it's the shortened form of the bank's name? If so, where did they get this styling from? Banks like WaMu use shortened forms w/o reverting to quotation marks. caz | speak 21:17, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Yes, It is an styling form... in every communication they always sign as "La Caixa" . The complete name in the past was "Caixa d'estalvis i pensions de Barcelona" but now in all registers they are called as "La Caixa" and also their web page http : // www . lacaixa.com.
