[edit] Synopsis

The Marquis of Kerdrel comes back from Africa to claim an inheritance from his late great-uncle. As soon as he walks in the great-uncle's castle, which is part of the inheritance, he meets his great-aunt, and falls in love with her; actually she is only twenty years old, and the great-uncle had married her in extremis. He immediately asks for her hand in marriage. Soon afterwards, another testament is found and it is stipulated that the young Marquis will not inherit due to his previous bad behaviour and all the fortune is offered to the young lady. Hopefully, the lady is not half-hearted and all is well that ends well.
