La Poudre Pass Lake
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
La Poudre Pass Lake (el. 3101 m./10,175 ft.) is a high lakelet located in the Rocky Mountains of northern Colorado in the United States.
The lake is located within Rocky Mountain National Park along the boundary between Grand and Larimer counties. The lake straddles the continental divide and feeds the headwaters of the Cache la Poudre River and is the source of the Colorado River. The pass does not carry a road, but is traverseable by a hiking trail which allows foot access to Rocky Mountain National Park from the Poudre Canyon to the north.
