This Chilean telenovela was made in 1981 by Canal 13. It was one of the first Chilean telenovelas and it met with great success because it was one of the first. It starred Uruguay-born actors Jael Unger and Walter Kliche. It has been remade by Mexican telenovela giant Televisa. It has been remade as Vivir Un Poco in 1985, Para Toda La Vida in 1996 and its most recent remake was made in 2005 and was titled La Madrastra.
