In 2007 the Album won 6 Latin Grammy Awards. The Album won a Grammy at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards on February 10, 2008 under "Best Tropical Latin Album" category.

The self-titled hit, "La Travesia", and "Que Me Des Tu Cariño" had become major hits.
