La Liberté (Canada)

La Liberté or Freedom is a Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada newspaper founded in 1913 by Archbishop Langevin of Saint-Boniface. In 1970, the publication was taken over by Press-West Limited which is owned by the cultural organization Franco-Manitobaine.
La Liberté is the only French-speaking provincial weekly magazine in Manitoba.
The newspaper celebrated its 85th anniversary in 1998. It has a staff of seven people.
