The LA Podcasters is an inclusive podcasting group based out of Los Angeles which meets monthly at the Brewery to synthesize the generation of podcasts out of the greater Los Angeles Community. Meetings are organized around sharing podcasting tips, encouraging the local independent podcasting scene and producing podcasting events.

In March of 2005 Lance Anderson (Verge of the Fringe and The Lance Anderson Podcast Experiment), Dan Klass (The Bitterest Pill), Tim Coyne (The Hollywood podcast), Grant Baciocco (The Radio Adventures of Dr. Floyd) and others began to meet at the Farmer's Market in order to establish a Podcasting Organization in the Greater Los Angeles community to foster the growth and development of the podcasting community. Shortly thereafter the LA Podcaster hosted a number of events to raise awareness of the general public to the thriving local podcast community. [2]

-September 2005, Hosted a booth at the first Podcast and Media Expo with a sold out and podcasted “Live Show” featuring Dr. Floyd and Dan Klass.

-Spring 2006 participated in The Brewery Art Walk and the Mac Gathering [3]

-September 2006 Hosted a number of live panels at the Podcast User and Media Expo.
