No footage of the actual anime is shown but it was entitled L Reborn (L 生まれ変わる?) The anime is mainly based around L and his new life being brought back to life, it is based mainly on the original Death Note pilot manga involving Taro and the Death Note Eraser which has the ability to revive those who have been killed due to use of the Death Note by erasing names using the Death Note Eraser.

The main storyline focuses on L, all that is known is that L is revived via use of the Death Note Eraser seen in the original Pilot Manga which was included in Death Note: 13 How To Read.
Following on from the end of the Directors Cut, Lord (Unnamed Shinigami who spoke with Ryuk) journeys to the Human world to find Near. Once there he steals the death note with L's name inside and erases it using the Death Note Eraser.
