That site is a fan site, one of many that LEGO train fans have done, and I'm not sure that it has much of anything to do with the term L gauge, other than the coincidental name. It was started by Tom Cook well before the term was coined by ILTCO. ++Lar: t/c 20:24, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
