Talk:L. V. Prasad
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] CLarification...
L V Prasad did not start the eye hospital, L V Prasad Eye Institute - he was its principal donor and had donated the land and some of the revenue from the film "Ek Duje ke liye" to the LVPEI. The distinction of setting up LVPEI goes to Dr Gullapalli Nageshwar Rao (Dr Nag Rao / Dr G. N Rao). I'll wait for a couple of days before making this correction.--earstotheground 10:04, 11 January 2006 (UTC) (self-nom)
- I used the word "started" in the same sense as it was used in his biography in the listed reference. btw, aren't his family members still on the board of trustees of LVPEI? Anyways, feel free to make the changes but ensure that they conform to [[WP:V}}. Thanks a ton for the heads-up. --Gurubrahma 09:50, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
Well, I checked it out and I think I can only think of the LVPEI website for immediate confirmation. the link: http://www.lvpei.org/milestones.html. Anyway, Mr Ramesh Prasad, L V Prasad's son is listed in the Board of trustees in the same site.Eartotheground 07:31, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
There change made. I've decided to leave the reference link to the LVP website on this page and not mention it on the article page. Eartotheground 07:42, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
