Would someone be able to take an exterior photo of a L.S. Ayres store before the chain is converted to Macy's in August 2006? J2rome 07:39, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

I would take a picture of the Greenwood store, but a demolition photo wouldn't be as desirable, would it? Speaking of which, would it be viable to add something to the article regarding that demolition and the development slated to take place on the site? Since there is no article on Greenwood Park Mall, this seems like the most logical place to put information, if any, of that sort. I have found a story from WISH-TV News 8 that I will link to. Although they are of the demo, there are some photos. --Compdude512 01:56, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

In the "Former Locations" section, there is conflicting information about the "Muncie" locations. I suspect that the store was not both opened and replaced in 1996. Does anyone know the proper information about this location? --Lance_VI 04:50, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Store

Does anyone remember what departments were located on each floor of the downtown store in Indianapolis?

I have a couple of pictures that I took of the L S Ayres Stores before they became Macys. I do not know how to upload them, but if someone would post an email address that I could send to, I would be glad to contribute them. Darapo 04:38, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:LS frontpage logo.gif

Image:LS frontpage logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:20, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
