L. Michelle Price, born in Albany, Georgia.

Michelle has become one of the major influencers in Urban radio. Beginning at WJIZ in Albany, GA, Michelle made radio buzz, when in 1996, the 2 stations that she managed WJIZ and WJYZ had an unprecedented 56% of the radio audience. That was no small accomplishement with 15 other stations also in the market. That put her on the radar to receive the GM/PD of the year award in 1997. In 1998, she began her stellar career in launching radio stations by launching HOT 107 in Memphis. In less than 6 months on the job, Price broke up a clear channel cluster of success by skyrocketing 107 to the #1 station in their 18-48 demo.

Her next challenge was to start up another station with a different set of challenges. Russ Oasis, brought Price to Ft. Wayne, Indiana in 1999 to launch an Urban station in a city that was 97% white. In keeping with the success of the "HOT" brand, Price launched HOT 104.9, with the ingenious "No Color Lines" slogan. Price was met again with success, and the station was catapulted to the top spot during her tenure.

In a short stint, launching KISS 106.7 in Nashville, Price got the position that changed the course of history in Canada. She was asked to lauch the first URBAN station in Canada. Price along with Milestone Radio, came up with the "FLOW" concept, and Flow 93.5 went on the air on February 4, 2001. The station's budget set for $1million dollars for the year, was met in less than 2 weeks on the air, and by the first month, the station had billed $2million in revenue. That was also the beginning of Michelle's dream of syndication, and JOYFULNOYZE a 4 hour gospel show was launched on Sunday mornings at FLOW.

Once stateside in 2003, Price began the US syndication of JOYFULNOYZE and had 10 affiliates, as she continued her work in radio. This time as a Christian broadcaster. She launched WAY-FM's Nashville /Clarksville, and consulted WALR-Memphis. During this time the National Association of Broadcasters accepted her into NAB's prestigious Broadcast Leadership Training Program. This program is a thinktank of the best in radio and television. Policy, FCC regulations, along with noteworthy guest speakers share policy and information on the broadcast industry.

Because of her management successes and industry ties, Westwood One tapped Price as its Director of Affiliate Sales in 2005, and moved to Washington, DC. This monumental move began the outline of PriceChampion Media Group, and the advent of LIFE RADIO NETWORK. In 2006, Price relocated to Nashville, TN to launch Life Radio Network. In partnership with Impact Radio Networks; JOYFULNOYZE and The HOLY HIT LIST began airing on radio stations across the US in 2007.
