L. F. Addington Middle School is a public middle school in Wise, Virginia. It is part of the Wise County Public School System. The school serves students in grades five through eight. LFA has a student population of approximately 500. It is accredited by the Virginia Department of Education.
Built on the grounds of the former Wise Elementary School, L. F. Addingron Middle School opened its doors to students in 1977. The school was named in honor of Luther Foster Addingon, a former educator and author. The faculty and staff of 73 assist students in their academic, athletic, and social endeavors. [1]
It is a feeder school for J. J. Kelly High School.
