L'Isle-Verte, Quebec

L'Isle-Verte is a small municipality located on the Saint Lawrence River, in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region of Quebec, Canada, near Cacouna. The name of the village refers to L'Île Verte, a nearby island.
On the island is the oldest lighthouse on the river, finished in 1808 and operational in 1809. It is also known for its lamb, fed in a salted march, which can be qualified as a luxury product in Quebec.
