Lüchow (IPA: [ˈlyːço]) is a town, capital of the district Lüchow-Dannenberg, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated approx. 13 km north of Salzwedel.
The Polabian name of Lüchow is Ljauchüw (spelled Lgauchi or Lieuschü in older German reference material).
Lüchow is also the seat of the Samtgemeinde ("collective municipality") Lüchow (Wendland).
