Lúcio Carlos Cajueiro Souza, best known as Lúcio or Lúcio Carlos (born in Recife, Pernambuco, June 20, 1979) is a Brazilian left-wingback currently playing at Hertha Berlin.
In career he played for clubs Unibol (1997-1999), São Bento, Gama and XV de Piracicaba (2000-2001), Ituano and São Caetano* (2002), Palmeiras (2003-2006) and São Paulo (2006). In January 2007 he was signed at Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense.
In September 2007 he suffered a horrific knee injury which ruled him out for the rest of the season and may even end his career.
- He won one São Paulo State Championship in 2002.
