Lésigny is a commune located in the Seine-et-Marne département, in the Île-de-France région., in the southeastern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 20 km (12 miles) from Paris.
The town is well known for its affluence and the Château de Grande Romaine that hosted the Brazilian national football team (during the FIFA World Cup 1998), and lots of famous european football teams, like Paris Saint-Germain FC, Olympique de Marseille, AS Monaco FC, Chelsea FC... Since its mutation to a residential zone, Lésigny hosts lots of celebrities. Many movies and advertisements were turned in Lésigny, in the Americanized districts.
