László Sepsi is a Romanian (ethnic Hungarian) football player from Luduş who plays as a left back for Portuguese Liga club SL Benfica.
He played for Stade Rennais FC in Ligue 1, the top division in France. He was brought in to the club by the-then Rennes coach, László Bölöni.
Sepsi didn't feature in any Ligue 1 matches in the 2005-06 season, but he was fielded in a couple of Coupe de France matches. Following the departure of coach and compatriot Bölöni in the summer of 2006, Sepsi returned to Romania.
On January 12, 2008, Sepsi signed a five and a half year contract with S.L. Benfica, for an undisclosed fee (newspapers reported that it could have been something between 1.8 and 2.5 M€.
Sepsi made his full International debut for Romania in a 3-0 rout against fellow qualifiers Russia in Bucharest.
Sepsi is also a Strong possibility for the UEFA EURO 2008 to be played in the Summer.
