[edit] Tunch Ilkin
You were right on the spot on the spelling of his name. Even though he has been in America since he was a baby, there are a few Wikipedia editors bound and determined not to follow the rules of our Wikipedia:Naming conventions and to eliminate as much use of the English language as they can from the English Wikipedia. They run around moving articles like this to improper spellings. If it gets moved back to the non-English spelling again, I'd appreciate your support in getting it back where it belongs. [edit] Image tagging for Image:Grey snapper.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Grey snapper.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. [edit] UU "Official Logo"
You replaced the logo on the Unitarian-Universalist page with a logo which I as a UU find more familiar. The question I have for you is on what basis did you label it the offical logo. Do we have an "official logo" or is the flaming chalice open to multiple interpretations. Richard Dates 14:29, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- The UUA has an official "corporate" logo.[1] That said, all I was doing yesterday (I thought) was replacing one image with another image that looked identical but which was a different image format (SVG) Charles (Kznf) 14:43, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Non-free use disputed for Image:UUA Logo.svg
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:UUA Logo.svg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:24, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hollow moon illustration
Where did that illustration of the internal structure of the moon come from? That might be good to put in the caption, to show how legitimate it is, since this is an article about non-legitimate theories of moon structure. - DavidWBrooks (talk) 00:12, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Madison farmers market
I noticed you added a picture of the Dane County Farmers' Market to the farmers market page. I'm also from Madison and have been doing some work on that page. Without being too critical, I'm wondering if you maybe have a picture that has more people in it? It looks like you were trying to highlight the people at the market as well as the Capitol building, but the Capitol takes up about 5 times as much space. For the page on farmers markets, there should be a better balance between the building and the actual market. It looked like a perfect day for the market though. Hopefully it'll get that nice sometime soon! Uwmad (talk) 01:30, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
