KZMU (90.1 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a Variety format. Licensed to Moab, Utah, USA, the station is currently owned by Moab Public Radio, Inc.[1] Founded in 1992, KZMU is an all-volunteer station served by some 75 DJ's and three part-time staff.[2]

In the spring of 2003, KZMU began operating solely on wind power through Utah Power's Blue Sky Program, in which KZMU purchases blocks of power from wind farms in Oregon and Wyoming.[3]

Phase I - Installing a wind turbine with grid tie at the tower site to help power the Transmitter Plant. This project will be completed mid June 2008.

Phase II - Installing a Vertical Wind Turbine at CFRM's Studios located at 10 Campbell St. E., Little Current, Ontario. This project will be completed by October 2008.

Phase III - Installing multiple wind turbines at the Tower site effectively being a small wind farm putting excess power on the grid. To be completed by summer of 2009.
