[edit] 9/11 flights

Greetings. Thanks for the cleanup and additional information on the various 9/11 flights articles! I hope you stick around and continue to add good info. We need more users like you. All the best, – Quadell (talk) (bounties) 13:18, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for fixing the passenger manifest section and not simply deleting it. I am searching high and low for a verified passenger manifest that fits wiki standards. It seems there might not be one and I'll have to FOIA myself. If you can find one please cite it in the article. Again thank you —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.18.82.93 (talk) 23:53, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image tagging for Image:SOS Dan.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:SOS Dan.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] Notable anime ProD

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Notable anime, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Notable anime. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] !!

I worked pretty hard to arrange those pictures on that page and deleting them was very unfair of you!!! How do I revert the changes?

Please be specific. If it is the Negima episode page - which is the one I am looking at right now, there are images up to episode 20 - and they're still there. KyuuA4 00:28, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
I am talking about the terrorist images i put!! please respond on my discussion page. perhaps we can compromise because you are deleting my hard work@!@@!!!!@
Sorry, but it's inappropriate to have the Terrorist images on the airliner page. It is as if they're being made famous for what they had done. Furthermore, they already have their images on their individual pages. Their images belong here: Organizers of the September 11, 2001 attacks. KyuuA4 15:33, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
I don't care. Just because you think they shouldn't be there, doesn't mean that others don't. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hmshiau (talkcontribs) 15:35, 12 April 2007 (UTC).
I am going to add the images back.Just because you don't think they should be there doesn't mean that they shouldn't. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 205.222.248.104 (talk) 15:38, 1 May 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Official spellings

On the Bleach pages we have chosen to use official romanizations whenever possible because otherwise you get into arguments over what the "best" transliteration for some chain of katakana is, and how many people on how many fan forums call them what. Fansubbers aren't a good source either. With all due respect to Dattebayo's speed and general comprehensibility of dialogue, their name romanizations are generally rather horrid. (Case in point: "Bounto".) In this case the official spellings are rather lame as well, but they are the only real romanizations that we know of. If you can find a place where an official source (like a video game for instance, or the Japanese advertising copy) spelled the names Cloud and Nova, then I'll support changing them back. But not until then. --tjstrf talk 18:34, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

Then best to wait for the DVD's. KyuuA4 18:36, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Saimoe Tournament

Hi, I've noticed that you listed Elenore Baker as a runner up in that tournament in 2004, however, the source you provided doesn't seem to mention Madlax at all... Can you help me find the exact citation? --Koveras  23:50, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

Unfortunately, I cannot read Kanji and happened to read off the English from the Animesuki forum. Therefore, I presumed it was a translation. Yet, from the linked source, I'll see if I can confirm it. I know enough Japanese to utilize a dictionary. So, I'll run a check on it. KyuuA4 03:11, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Chicago Meetup

I am not sure if you live in Chicagoland, but I see you have edited Chicago quite a bit. If you are not from Chicago I apologize for the following message. A Chicago Meetup has been scheduled. I hope the time and place are convenient. Your reply would be appreciated.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 19:56, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Chicago Meetup

Thanks for coming out. If you get a chance, take a look at WP:CHIASSESS#Current_Top-importance_Candidates and vote.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 15:56, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to talk at the meetup. I wanted to let you know people appreciate your work on United Airlines Flight 93 etc. That kind of fact-checking and careful work does a lot to keep the pages accurate. Hope to see you again sometime. Tom Harrison Talk 20:10, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

KyuuA4, I found WikiProject Chicago. It is strange that we didn't find it before. Since I live in Wisconsin, I would not have participated. But my girls now live and work in Chicago and I think the Field Museum is the best part of the city. One of my daughters thinks I should be part of the exhibits: and that's my Dad, in the museum. Once we went to Museum of Science and Technology, but the level of the exhibits is just introductory Wikipedia, so I am not going back. And I have some photos there of some of the unspeakable exhibits at Museum of Science and Technology.
Yesterday was a good day. I rode the Blue line bus, a substitute for the rail, and the people were a pleasure to see.
Please feel free to leave me a message. I don't read my e-mail on a regular basis, but I will respond to a wikipedian message. Since we have a shared interest in science, I believe we could talk about some good things. I have left some musings with Ted Ernst on his AboutUs.org pages. --Ancheta Wis 02:57, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Who do you think you are?

Congratulations on your time spent here at Wikipedia, do you think this some how entitles you to be the sole editor for the Anime page? You have 3 times now deleted my external link addition. In doing so you are depriving Wikipedia users the opportunity to discover a great resource for all fans of Anime. Please explain why it is you believe that the 2 other external links on the page are worthy of escaping your deletions but animetreehouse.com is not? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Animetreehouse (talkcontribs) 20:45, August 29, 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Negima!?

Is the article in your watchlist? It's just because I'm concerned that as soon as the time the protection expires, the massive vandalism might start again, even if the semi-protect template is still up. And I won't logging in around that time until afternoon here (that's morning GMT) because where I work doesn't have an internet connection. Will you keep watch on this article for me? - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 11:25, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Manga as Graphic Novels Change

Hi, KyuuA4,

I just wanted to let you know that I've posted some material on the Manga/Anime project page in response to your change in how we defined manga. Why don't you take a look at it and see what you think. Thanks.

[edit] Refs to OEL

Hi, KyuuA4,

I put a bunch of refs on my user Talk page about OEL manga and related stuff. Timothy Perper 23:37, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

There was a delay, but they're up now on my User talk page. Timothy Perper 07:48, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
Great. Glad they're useful. Are you going to move the non-Japanese manga section out of the manga article? I sure hope so -- it doesn't belong there and goes right into the OEL manga article.
Timothy Perper 21:13, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
Um, at least, SOME mention -- like about 2-3 sentences (or a whole paragraph) should remain in the main manga article because of the relation between Japanese "manga" and OEL "manga -- and manga from other countries. It's a basic fact that even some manga publishers, such as Kodansha supports the concept of non-Japanese manga. Complete elimination would violate NPOV. The opening paragraph y'wrote out pretty much spells out the main outline of the whole article. KyuuA4 04:10, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] About 12.168.112.176‎

I know you reminded 12.168.112.176‎ (talk · contribs) about his vandalism; but I think he will not heed you warning. I don't even think he has even read his talk page. The only way this guy can be restrained is a block. But he hasn't been blocked since last month. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that how many a vandal become repeat offenders. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 07:45, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Yea, the concept of "feeding the troll". Looking around the Internet, I'm quite aware of these types. Yet, I tend to be more belligerent; so, I decided to give it a shot. KyuuA4 (talk) 09:16, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
Let's hope that works, because it rarely does. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 12:39, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Changes to Manga Entry

Great! Way to go. The article is much tighter with your changes. Will you be updating the content (I hope)? If I can help, let me know. Timothy Perper (talk) 21:47, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

Thanks. On and off, I'd be around. I tend to bounce between articles of different topics - particularly those on my watchlist. Regarding sources, I tend to notice yer a "Go-to guy"; so when need be, I'll be knockin'. KyuuA4 (talk) 02:01, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
Sure thing! BTW, the manga article failed the GA nomination (not surprisingly, IMO). The problem area identified was -- you guessed it -- International Influences. Come over to the manga talk page and see what I said about fixing this. We'll need your help and/or support, since you've had some good ideas about this material. Timothy Perper (talk) 22:35, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
I like your take on the POV aspects of the "Influence" section (hereafter, called simply "Influence"). I tried to make my draft revision -- with is at user:Timothy Perper/SandboxInternational -- much less POVish, but I'd like your comments.
Also, a note on the style of the draft on the SandboxInternational page. It's designed to be filled in with references and additional material, so don't be surprised if stuff is missing. We'll add it, and we'll revise it too.
So I hope you take a look.

[edit] "Minor" edits

Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Macross, as minor if (and only if) they genuinely are minor edits (see Help:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one (and vice versa) is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearranging of text without modifying content should be flagged as a 'minor edit.' Thank you.

[edit] test edits; malformed web cites

hello, please don't perform test edits on live pages. you've entered a large number of web cites that are malformed, due to missing title. this breaks the citations, and clutters the references with warning notifications. plesae use the sandbox for test editing before committing to an article. in the meantime, please enter titles for the citations you added. thank you. [edit] FA criteria for manga article

[edit] A word of caution.

Checking their contributions, I couldn't help but notice that User:Baron Armadillo appears to be a sock puppet for User:Amibite. Both have contributed the Horseland (TV Series) article, and from what I've seen of his post outside Wikipedia (he's user LadroAnima on GameFAQs, though I forget his Toonzone name), he's also a fan of iCarly.

But that's hardly any proof unless you take the following into account: Note Baron Armadillo's disscussion in the Anime-influenced animation article, and compre their posts. Look familiar? Same general argument as the one by Amibite above.

It should also be noted that he stopped using is Amibite account a few months before Baron Armadillo appeared.--Tenka Muteki (talk) 20:18, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Role-playing game (video games)

Hey. I notice you took a bit of interest in the Role-playing game (video games) article a while back. I've made some substantial additions. So if you'd like to give it a look-over and do some copy-editing, I'd appreciate it. Randomran (talk) 00:55, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
