Kyungon Bridge

The Kyungon Bridge is a bridge on Wakema-Kyungon-Myinkaseik-Pathein Road. It was built across Pyanmalot River between Wakema Township and Eimme Township in Ayeyawady Division in Union of Myanmar. The one-way bridge is a Bailey-type suspension one with 500 feet (150 m) in length and 14 feet (4.3 m) in width.

On completion of the Kyungon Bridge, it leads to Wakema-Kyungon-Myinkaseik-Pathein Road and it is only 55 miles (89 km) and 3 furlongs long and people can travel from one region to another in a short time. It is the shortest road from Wakema to Pathein because there are three roads from Wakema to Pathein. Wakema-Kyonkanaung-Kangalay-Pathein Road is 92 miles (148 km) long. Wakema-Kyonkanaung-Einme-Dhaka Road is 86 miles (138 km) long. And Wakema-Kyungon-Ywathit- Eimme-Dhaka-Pathein Road is 65 miles (105 km) long.
