[edit] SNK-Capom template

I'm not exactly sure the soulmate parameter is necessary, so I'm going to ahead and remove it. The reason is it's really a very limited usage category, and the information in it can either fit into the main article itself or the bulk of the article in many cases. It'll be a better tradeoff anyway as too many subsections and someone somewhere will start griping about too much "trivia" @_@; Anyway gimme a shout with what you think.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 10:15, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

I was thinking of whether it should be there or not after I added, but put it in anyways just for the heck of it as it's kind of awkward info to jam into an article when some characters' family members aren't really involved in the story. I suppose it doesn't really matter to me whether it stays or not. Only one I really wanted to be put in was the weapon section anyways as there's quite a few on the SNK side and can apply to a lot of them on the Capcom side as well Kyosei (talk) 11:07, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Yasuhiro Designing in SSV

Sorry, I'm still fairly new to Wikipedia, and I don't know if that's the proper way to reply (and make sure you notice it)... Anyway, Yasuhiro Nightow's name is actually listed in the end credits of the game. I'm pretty sure the fact he designed Kusaregedō was mentioned in Arcadia back then, and the same magazine also mentioned how Watsuki designed three characters for the game: Yoshitora, Yunfei and Gaō (... or four, if you count Kuraki Sumeragi, I guess). There were sketches and all that stuff. But really, I have no idea how to find these pages on the internet now, nearly five years later... All I could find is this and this (sketches by Watsuki in both cases). 88.161.129.43 (talk) 04:01, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

I noticed you credited Watsuki for quite a few characters... ^^; I'll try and find a reliable source saying that he only designed Yoshitora, Yunfei and Gaō/Kuraki Sumeragi, but... Well, what's your source on that matter? ^^; Besides, Rera was created for "Nakoruru ~Ano Hito kara no Okurimono~", not for "Samurai Spirits Zero"... So unless you find a reliable source stating that Watsuki worked on "Nakoruru ~Ano Hito kara no Okurimono~" (which I doubt), I think we can at least agree he didn't create/design Rera... And back to Nightow... Here's a page that quotes "Zero ~Graphical Maniacs~", a fanzine made by some of the staff members. The entry about Kusaregedō does state that he was designed by Nightow. 88.161.129.43 (talk) 04:35, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
Ah didn't check those screenshots. Usually just look at the ending ones. I personally did not edit in Watsuki for everyone that was just info in there before. I was just putting them back in and made them wiki-links. Also it has been generally accepted and even credited in Watsuki's own article for designing most of the V characters anyways so it's not too far off base, but I see your point. In any case, you should really get on to learning how to cite stuff. Magazine articles make for better refs than website ones anyway if you could find the magazine again anyways. Or if you don't want to learn you can just be lazy and copy and paste the code you need from the articles that already have refs haha. Oh and one last thing, VGM doesn't allow hot-linking so you shouldn't do direct links to picture files like that. Happy editing ^^ Kyosei (talk) 11:13, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the pointers on the citation templates, but like I said, I don't have the magazine articles right here... And while I realize I should cite a source for Watsuki designing only three characters, shouldn't you also cite one for him designing all of the new characters, then? 88.161.129.43 (talk) 13:48, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
Sure thing. Happy editing ^^ Kyosei (talk) 19:45, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Kekeke, thanks!

Yeah, I know I didn’t do all of ’em, but PitA-creators who mass merge articles, then redirect them, then kill double redirects in the name of progress are... well, PitA-creators. Someone’s gotta do the work at some point! -BRPXQZME (talk) 00:50, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

The Working Wikipedian's Barnstar
Your continual and constructive work on this article is phenomenal! Just wanted to get that out there. -BRPXQZME (talk) 00:27, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
Aw, thank you! But really I just got to say thanks once again for the redirects also. You saved me the trouble of reading to try and figure out how to do it myself haha ^^ Kyosei (talk) 01:00, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
