[edit] Deletion! Why?

Why would this article be considered for deletion? It is a marginally defunct shopping mall. While it has seen recent improvements, it has a long way to go. If reasons for possible deletion could be given maybe the issues could be addressed. Campaigner444 18:23, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

Ditto. The submitter of the deletion notice failed to inform the readers and contributors of what exactly the reason was, hiding behind acronyms that produced no real results. Instead, there should have been bullet points listed with specific details. Seicer 18:45, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
To add, this mall is considered part of the Dead Malls project. The Kyova Mall itself is still considered distressed, as it has an 80% vacancy rate and is still very much struggling. Even if it comes out of its slump (that it has been in for over 10 years), the article is still worthy of the Dead Malls project for that same purpose, in that it was formerly a distressed property revitalized under several new projects. I don't think I can be any more specific over this article than what I discussed and outlined. It fits Wikipedia's standards, fits the Dead Malls project description, and is an approperiate submission. Seicer 18:48, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

The reasons and discussion concerning this deletion are at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kyova Mall. I also tried to explain any excess jargon I used there, I hope that this explaination was sufficiently explicit for you. Inner Earth 18:54, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
