The Kyoto Consortium for Japanese Studies (京都日本研究センター Kyōto Nihon Kenkyū Sentā?), or KCJS, is a study abroad program founded in 1989 and currently housed at Kyoto University in Kyoto, Japan. Operated by a consortium of universities, the program is centered on advanced Japanese language training combined with English-language coursework for college credit. Students are also encouraged to participate in homestay programs during their time at the program.[1]
