Kyoji Yamawaki (山脇恭二? born September 17, 1957) was a Japanese gymnast. He invented and named the trick on the still rings known as a yamawaki[citation needed] (in which you do a double front flip in the back swing.) Yamawaki competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics and won the bronze medal in the Men's Team Combined Exercises.
