Hey there, just read your opinions on Salad Fingers and I'm impressed.

You've thought about it rationally, and I agree with about 80-90% of it.

But of course, that's just my opinion, I agree because it makes sense. Whether or not your right remains to be seen, and I don't think that David Firth is going to be forthcoming.

My own personal opinion for Salad Fingers (his world and his appearance) is actually two seperate opinions:

The landscape and characters are all in his mind, and they represent different aspects of his personality trying to sort itself out.

or the slightly more esoteric belief that during the Great War that one, or both, sides used nuclear weaponry, and Salad Fingers is one of the mutated survivors who is apparently immune to all of the long term effects. He occasionally encounters survivors, but most of them have been driven to madness, or in the case of Milford Cubicle they are deformed in some way.

This would explain the generally barren wasteland he lives in, and why most of the things he encounters are in disrepair.

His behavior either way, as well as his mental state are used to explain his coping methods. Either way, he is essentially alone, and relies on the fingerpuppets and other things (Kenneth the corpse, Bordoir, etc) to keep him sane.

There is also a question of Salad's gender, and while I do reffer to him as a male, I actually think it's more likely that Salad is female, but if the nuclear war theory is true, then gender might be indeterminable.

Just my thoughts, I'd put them on a theory page if there was one, just thought you'd be interested.
