Throughout her shows, segments from Saint Germain's 'Tourist' album are used as background music, one might argue, excessively ( Montego Bay Spleen, as an example). Critics have also raised the issue that, by a simple differentiation of narration, her shows might capture a larger slice of market appeal if she were only to substitute her emphatic use of the pronoun "I" for "we", thus giving her ideas more inclusive appeal.
