Kyla Woods is a fictional character on the television series South of Nowhere. She is the sister of Ashley Davies and is played by Eileen April Boylan.

[edit] Ashley's Half-Sister
Kyla first appears as Ashley's long lost half-sister from Baltimore. Ashley hates her at first, because she was a secret that their father had kept from her. But they gradually become closer, little by little, and by the season 2 finale, they finally start to act like sisters.
[edit] Relationship with Aiden
Kyla and Aiden begin to grow close after Kyla arrives in LA, and soon start to date. But when Kyla goes home to see her ex-boyfriend, Aiden misunderstands their relationship and breaks up with her. They start out as friends again, but soon get back together. However, their relationship is threatened again when Kyla discovers that Aiden still loves Ashley at the end of season 2.

Kyla survives the prom night shooting, and it is revealed that she and Aiden have broken up. However, she has no hard feeling toward him and they are still friends.
[edit] Dropping Out
Shortly after the new school year starts, Kyla decides to drop out and get her GED after she acquires her inheritance from her and Ashley's dead father. Ashley follows suit, and they decide to go to Mexico to get away from things.

Kyla quickly becomes a Hollywood 'it girl', with flocks of fans and people constantly asking for autographs and pictures. She attracts the attention of Jake, who had previously (and briefly) dated Madison. Together, they decide to use Kyla as a model for a fashion line.

In the mid season finale it alludes that Kyla is doing coke.
[edit] Ambushed
While on the way out of Ego with bodyguard/assistant Glen, Kyla is ambushed by the photographer that Aiden had beaten up. It is unknown what happens to her, and whether she is even in danger. Howvever, the photographer's words ("Where's your bodyguard now?") seem to allude to this.
