[edit] Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest

Excellent work! I am an occasional visitor (mostly to hike the long trail) and this article was sadly lacking, you've done a great job with it. And welcome to Wikipedia by the way, if you need any help feel free to ask me. --W.marsh 17:07, 8 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Britney Spears, Spice Girls etc.

Per WP:DATE and WP:CONTEXT, solitary year, year-month and month links (e.g. 2006, April 2006, April etc.) should not be inserted unless there is a very good reason to. However, dates that include the day of the month and the month (e.g. April 18 or April 18, 2006) can be linked, so that users' date preferences can work. Thanks. [edit] Boston Whaler

Thanks for explaining why Mercury outboards are significant to the Whaler. It was starting to sound like a Brunswick ad in the article. I was originally going to include the sawing bit, but wanted to find references. Will they sink if sawn from starboard to port?--J Clear 11:23, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Louisville

Greetings. I'm just dropping a line to all Louisville residents I can find to ask them to consider joining the new WikiProject Louisville. It has been determined there is a *lot* of work to do yet remaining for Louisville-related subjects, and therefore we would definitely appreciate your presence. If by chance you are unable to join us, that's all right, but if you can, please tell other Louisvillians about this worthy project. Thank you for your time! —  Stevie is the man!  Talk | Work 00:32, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edits to "Weird Al" Yankovic

Hi. Just a quick comment regarding your edits to quotation marks and other punctuation in the article. WP:MoS has certain guidlines regarding quotes where punctuation is inside/outside the quotation marks. I suggest you read that for the more accepted way of editing quotations. ~ Gromreaper 04:05, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Louisville growing and changing

WikiProject Louisville is sprouting its wings for 2007! We have a new Assessment Department and a much more refined project template. We have nearly 1,000 articles catalogued for our project. And we still have a lot of work to do. We have 500+ articles left to assess for quality, and all our articles, as always, need tender loving care. Please consider dropping by the project and seeing what you might be able to do to move Louisville-related articles forward. Cheers, and Happy New Year! Stevie is the man! [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:AlexBeatonsScotland.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:AlexBeatonsScotland.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:The Cumberland Three.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:The Cumberland Three.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 20:28, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
