[edit] Other network pre-emptions

IIRC,during its CBS days, the station also preempted other lower rated network programs even before banishing Guiding Light: the entire late night lineup from the late 1980's until the arrival of The Late Show with David Letterman as well as the entire 9-10am weekday block from at least the mid-1980's until the network cancelled it outright in the early 1990's...

Additionally, once it picked up the current ABC affiliation, it did not pick up the half-hour soap that aired either during the 11am or noon hour(first Loving/The City, then Port Charles); but that became a moot point once the network eliminated that programming block outright...Ranma9617 07:03, 11 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Past Personalities

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:KXTV.PNG

Image:KXTV.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:20, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] More freelancers?

Though he hasn't a bio on the official homepage, Harry Stockman(this station's one-time chief meteorologist from the 80's)has filled in occasionally as of late. Additinally, Jon Baird (one time at KOVR) has been used as a reporter. Are they freelance? Ranma9617 04:49, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use criteria

The use of images not in compliance with our fair-use criteria or our policy on nonfree content is not appropriate, and the images have been removed. Please do not restore them. — Moe ε 21:03, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
