Template to convert electric fuel mileage from kW·h per mile (kWh/mile) into US mpg and display both via:
- {{{1}}} kWh/mile ({{#expr: 33.6 / {{{1}}} round 0}} mpg)
Useage:
- {{kWh/mile|0.26}} results in 0.26 kW·h/mi (129 mpg)
- {{kWh/mile|.26|lk=on}} results in .26 kW·h/mi (129 mpg)
- {{kWh/mile|.26|lk=on|co2=on}} results in .26 kW·h/mi (0.38 lb CO2/mile)(129 mpg)
Options:
- Make units wikilinked by attaching
|lk=on.- The manual of style suggests that you only link the first instance.
- Specify alternate energy content for a US gallon of gasoline with
|kWh_gal=33.6. - Specify the equivilant CO2 emissions with
|co2=on- Specify alternate CO2 emissions per kW·h with
|lb_kWh=1.461998 US mix [1].
