Talk:Kwa Geok Choo
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Unless there's anything more to say about her, it's unclear why a simple redirect doesn't do the job. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 17:44, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Again, unless there's reason to suppose that she's notable, and that there's anything more to be said than that she's the wife of someone famous, then a redirect is the best option. The article was created by a vandal; no-one else thought that it was a suitable article, and the current state of it suggests that there's a reason for that. If you're willing to do the work to make it more than a redirect, then that would be fine — but don't just revert (without discussing it here) on the basis that you're sure that there's something more to be said. [edit] trite paragraph
"During Lee's years as Prime Minister and Senior Minister, Kwa was frequently seen with her husband, especially on diplomatic trips and meetings with other foreign ministers."
I mean, so what? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.55.53.184 (talk) 15:47, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
She's done plenty of her own, and I've read and seen plenty of books/documentaries, etc. on her, just that I don't have the time to expand it right now. I wanted to keep it as a stub so I could probably look at it tomorrow. Furthermore, its confusing for the reader to look her up and then get redirected to Lee Kuan Yew. -- Natalinasmpf 18:56, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Well, that's what redirects are for. When you have enough material, it'll be easy to add it; you don't need a sub-sub-stub for that. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 22:34, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)
