École Kwantlen Park Secondary School is a high school in the Whalley region of Surrey, BC.
When the previous school, West Whalley Jr. High, became too small, it was rebuilt in 2002 and re-named Kwantlen Park Secondary, after the park it sits beside. This park was named after the Kwantlen First Nation. The French immersion program stayed at the school and the school district's Inter-A program moved into the new school.
The school grounds contain a baseball diamond, and there is a public swimming pool in the park next door.
Kwantlen Park Secondary School also has a very active student's council.
An alternative high school program, called Inter-A,is provided here. Students work in teams and at their own pace. The programs is very highly regarded and teaches leadership and self-motivation along with the normal academics.
