KVTE was the proposed flagship station in the Las Vegas Television Network that is owned by Nathan Draige. Its transmitter is located on Black Mountain, in Henderson, Nevada.
[edit] History
Due to financial mismanagement KVTE has been locked out of their Las Vegas studios since September, 2007. As a result of the financial issues, and despite layoffs of the once loyal staff, the staff hasn't been paid since August, 2007.
Recent sexual allegations have come to light involving senior management of Mountain Ridge Holdings, forcing what few investors that remained with the project to threaten legal action, and at least one senior officer into hiding.
Senior management is currently under investigation for soliciting investors from the popular website Craigslist. This allegation if true could result in jail time for senior officer(s).
