[edit] Not The first

KVJM was not the first hispanic FM station. I know of at least one other: before KNFX became classic rock (also upon being sold to Clear Channel, ironic considering the history of KVJM), it was "La Fabulosa 99.5". When it was sold and changed formats, most of the staff then moved to KTAM 1240 AM, which changed from oldies to hispanic. KTAM now simulcasts both on 1240 AM and 101.9 FM (KZTR)
