Hi. Just a few notes. First, it is good to use a edit summary when contributing, it helps us understand what you are doing. Second, one writes

instead of

===External Links===

[edit] Monty Hall problem

Hi, I've reverted your addition to this article twice now; as far as I can tell, your text has nothing to do with the Monty Hall problem. Mightn't it be more in place in the Three Prisoners Problem article?

While I'm at it, please don't flag non-trivial edits like that one minor; that predicate is reserved for link fixes, typo and grammar corrections etc. Also, please fill in an edit summary next time. I see you've been asked this before—it really helps your fellow contributors to see at a glance what your intention is. Phaunt 22:55, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

Hi Kvihill. So, just a note, any disagreements over any Wikipedia article are better discussed on that article's discussion page (talk page). The discussion page is accessible via a tab on the top of any article (next to 'history' and 'edit'). I put the Daniel Pearl article on my watchlist, and will try to keep an eye on it. I moved the text you added to Talk:Daniel Pearl to the bottom of that page, in a new section, which I titled "A note on captions". Feel free to rename the section to better reflect to what you want to say. I did the move because new discussion should start at the bottom in new sections. There are no formal rules. You could wait a day or two and then perform the edit. You could state in the edit summary that the edit is explained on the talk page. That may lead towards a discussion, hopefully, rather than towards an argument or a revert war. Let's see how it goes. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 01:34, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

oleg - how do i ask someone to contact at a personal email w/o posting the actual address for all to see? talk makes it public, right? thanks, Kvihill 20:21, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
If you want to contact a Wikipedian by email, which I think is what you are asking, you can visit that Wikipedian's user page and click on the "E-mail this user" link under the "search" box on the left.
But, in order to do that, you have to change your preferences to "Enable e-mail from other users", and also specify there your own email. With that, the "E-mail this user" feature makes it possible for you to send email without anybody seeing either the email or your email address, except for the recipient you intend.
