KVGS is a commercial radio station located in Laughlin, Nevada, broadcasting to the Las Vegas metropolitan area on 107.9 FM. KVGS airs a modern rock music format branded as AREA 107.9.

The station is licensed to Laughlin, Nevada with its transmitter just outside of Dolan Springs, Arizona. The station has a full power class C transmitter, and a 78 watt booster on Black Mountain in Henderson, Nevada to help fill in the signal in metro Las Vegas. The station has been broadcasting since October of 2005 as AREA 108 and in October 2007 rebranded as AREA 107.9.
Before the current format, 107.9 was V-108, launched in 2002 at first as an Rhythmic Top 40 formatted station. Months later, it shifted to an Urban Adult Contemporary format which lasted for three years.
