[edit] License tagging for Image:RuneScape server location map2.PNG
Thanks for uploading Image:RuneScape server location map2.PNG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:10, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:RuneScape_server_location_map2.PNG
Thank you for uploading Image:RuneScape_server_location_map2.PNG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. -- SteinbDJ · talk · contributions 14:38, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fansite links in RuneScape
Hello there. I'm sorry, but the fansite link you added to RuneScape, one of the RuneScape related articles on Wikipedia has been removed. External links to fansites should be kept to a minimum, as Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links. Only the three major fansites; RuneHQ, Tip.it and Zybez, should be linked to at this time. This is due to to a controversy some time ago, after a very large collection of fansite links built up in the article, although this rule has recently been relaxed due to policy changes. For more information, please see Wikipedia's, or the Meta-Wiki's rules on external links. If you would like to add a new fansite link, please discuss it first at the main article's discussion page or at WikiProject MMO's RuneScape Task Force. Thanks, CaptainVindaloo t c e 17:41, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] AfD Nomination: 2006 Huntsville bus accident
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem that 2006 Huntsville bus accident meets these criteria, an editor has started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.
Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2006 Huntsville bus accident. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.
Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, a neutral third party will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. -- Jreferee (Talk) 02:55, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Nb-fultonanddecarie.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Nb-fultonanddecarie.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 00:17, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Danny arroyo
A tag has been placed on Danny arroyo, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a7.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Pyrospirit (talk · contribs) 19:18, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Despres Gregory.PNG
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Despres Gregory.PNG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Talk:Physician
I'm having a little trouble pointing out on this page that physicians are the most likely profession to be a serial killer (5 sources cited in favour of this point, including the British Medical Journal) - the medics there don't want to accept this bit of info. Could you take a look and comment if you feel so inclined? Thanks:) Malick78 08:40, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Zapak
A tag has been placed on Zapak requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit] Article creation
There have been maybe 4 or 5 confirmed tornadoes so far. Yes, one person is dead (tragically), but one death doesn't necessarily make an article if there aren't that many tornadoes. If more happens this afternoon/evening (which is expected) or the death toll rises, an article will be made. But for now it is too soon. We still have to get the sandbox going (which we haven't yet).
