Kuzma Nikolaevich Derevyanko

Kuzma Nikolaevich Derevyanko (Russian: Кузьма Николаевич Деревянко; 1904—1954) was a Lieutenant General in the Soviet Army. He was the representative of the Soviet Union during the surrender of the Japanese in World War II. He signed the Japanese Instrument of Surrender on his country's behalf on the battleship USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay on September 2, 1945.
