I have personally verified the Hijri calendar implemented by Windows, as instructed in the Microsoft link of the article, and the structure it produces does indeed match exactly with the claims made in [1]. Also note that:
- several years ago some of the top developers in Microsoft's Middle East Products Divison (MEPD) did extensive research into it.
Since there is no evidence that any such Products Division exists, this entire remark is probably an in-joke. Their top developer did extensive research into it, several years ago indeed ;) squell 20:16, 25 September 2005 (UTC)
