Kuthanur

Kuthanur is a small village in Palakkad district of Kerala state, south India.

It is under Kuzalmannam Taluk in Palakkad district of Kerala state, India.

Kuthanuris a predominantly rural village, under the administration of Kuthanur Grama Panchayat. It is situated at the south west end of the district. The population is mostly Hindus, of castes like Ezhava, Nair, Pillai, etc. There are some Muslims and few Christians also. The major occupation is agriculture. The crops are rice, vegetables, gingerand tapioca. Places like Malanchitty, Poothakode are situated in Kuthanur.
